dundee MI

So sorry I did not write here in a long time, but down to business. As you can see I went to Dundee MI and went to the corn maze.It was fun and tricky. After that, we went to Bricktown Coney Island, which has only been open for two weeks. Dad got a gyro, with a side of rice and lemon rice soup, and a coney dog with everything, Chicken Parmesan for Mom, Spaghetti for Adam and I had a cheese omelet with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were a little cold. Dad said his hot dog was good, but they put on a whole bunch of chili on it, so he had to eat it with a folk. People who eat hot dogs with forks are wienie's. Mom said the chicken parmesan was good, but she thought it would be breaded, and it wasn't. Adam said his spaghetti was good.We all were stuffed but I thought it was all worth it. The cheese was perfect it got stuck on top of my mouth it was creamy and gooey.If you ever go bring your hunger. My dad did like the gyro he said it was the best gyro he ever had. The pita bread was really good he said. The service was really good too. I would eat there again someday.

I'm sorry I wasn't on here for a long time, but I have some new things I'd like to share with you. Tonight, we made biscuits and chicken with special sauce over it. Yesterday, we made a hamburger quiche with salsa in it. I made the salsa on Monday at cooking class at the JCC.  To make the salsa, we chopped and mushed a bunch of different kinds of tomatoes. Then, we put them in a bag, and pounded them. We put vinegar, and sugar, and a little bit of salt in. We also pounded up garlic and put that in too.  Both suppers were really good.

Hi a few days ago I went to camp.I got to go horse back riding, go karting and I cooked. I made the best bacon my group has ever ate. I made things with hot pie irons like pizza pies and fruit pies.It was fun.On Tuseday I had tacos,on Thursday chicken sandwichis and Friday meatball subs.

Today I went B.D. Mongolia.It is sort of like a buffet. You chose a meat, there are about 15 different types. They also have eggs. Next you go to the vegetable station, where you get as many vegetables as you want.They have about 18 different ones. Then you go to the sauces. There are a lot of different kinds, you can make combinations. They have herbs and peanut to make your food more tasty. Then you take it over to  a big circular grill and they cook it for you. Then it is time to eat I got this sauce called tiger sauce it is amazing I get all sorts of different tastes sweet and sour, spicy and hot .I made a bowl with  sausage ,carrots, egg and combo of  spicy buffalo and regular buffalo.My next bowl had marinated beef with baby corn. The sauce was, peanut, spicy buffalo and regular. It was very good.

The last three days my mom was in Las Vegas . She was there because her friend had a birthday . She had a chocolate mousse here is a  pic. She said it was "like a very smooth pudding, whipped with air." .Today I  saw the green lantern it was cool . and tonight I had BBQ chicken my dad made on the grill

Yesterday I made spaghetti my mom and dad said it was great . The night before I went to my cousins wedding it was fun . And today I had taco bell for lunch I had the 5 layer burrito and my mom had two tacos. And last time I posted I talked about my project I got an A.yay

I am sorry I was out . I had to do my homework . Well it was my birthday and I am now 10, double digits baby. For my birthday we went to Red Robin. I had macaroni and cheese. Mom had a chicken burger and Dad and Adam had cheese burgers.
Tonight I had beef rice roni and hamburger. It was fantastic.We also had corn it, was good too.I am doing a science project on yeast and it is turning out good.Wish me luck.

Hi. Today I had my grandma over for lunch. My Dad made pot roast with potato‘s and carrots, biscuits, and cole slaw it all was so good. The meat was juicy and the slaw was fresh and nice.

Hi. Tonight I had a REALY good sandwich. We had it at Potbelly’s at Talmadge and Sylvania. I had a pizza sandwich , with mushrooms, Italian seasoning, meatballs and pepperoni. I asked for Mayo, but they forgot. Still it was really good. My mom had a saled, with lettuce, craisins, grapes, apples, candied walnuts, blue cheese and chicken. My Dad had a sandwich called The Wreak. He doesn’t remember what was in it. My brother had a meatball sandwich with cheese and hot peppers My sandwich was so remarkable. The inside was really cool. It reminded me of old day because of the pot belly stove. There were hat all over the place. They had a deer head with a hat on it.

 A fue days ago I made lemon chesee cake it was so sweet it made me hiper . The same day I made hamburger mac my mom left it on the stove so it got burnt but it was still good .thats all for now see ya.

Today I went to Michigan. First we went to Ikea. They have really juicy meatballs, and really cheesy mac and cheese. I also tasted lingo berry jam. The jam was tart and sweet. I also had Chocolate cake there. It was really creamy and rich. Dad had apple pie. It looked awsome, but Dad said it needed to be sweeter. Ikea was nice but once you go upstairs, you have to walk all around the top floor and the bottom to get out. Next we went to Birch Run. It had some cool places and I meet really nice ladies that work at Le Creuset They cooked up some spaghetti sauce that smelled nice. Next we went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory. I got a chocolate covered marshmallow. They were hard to bit into. I had to chew very slowly because they were so hard.They tasted gooey on the inside and very dark chocolate on the outside. Last but not least we went to Fuddruckers. The burgers where so delectable. I had a chesseburger, with ketchup, mayo and cheese sauce. We also had onion rings. That’s my day.

Tonight I had my dads fried chicken with mashed potato and peaches. The chicken was nice and crispy. The mashed potatoes had chives and garlic in them. The potatos where soft just the way I like them.

We went to Cino de Mayo 5  tonight. I ordered the combo, (a burrito and a quesailla) It was spicy and cheesy. we also had  caso cheese dip. My mom had three taco's. She said they where good. My brother had a shreaded beef quesalla and my dad had a chicken dish with mushrooms and green peppers.It was number 67

Tonight I made french toast.We used 5 egg, a splash of milk, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mom, Dad and Adam thought it was good and so did I. We also had sausage. It was like breakfast at suppertime . We also had maple syrup, that Mom got from work.It was all so good.

Tonight I made scalloped pineapple it was sweet and creamy. These are some pictures of it. We also had cheesey potatoes and pork.

Here is the scalloped pineapple recipe - it was easy to make (I made it all by myself):
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 (20oz) can crushed pineapple, use juice too
6 slices bread, cubed
Dash salt

Melt margarine, stir in other ingredients. Bake in square baking dish at 350F for 30 minutes.

Last night I went to see THE RAINMAKER. They had cookies and punch it was good. Tonight, I went to Olga's for supper. I got a three cheese olga. an olga is something wrapped in pita bread.I also had snackers, snackers are olga bread cut into small pieces and ether fried or baked I really like them.

This morning, I had some apple strudel from costco.Emm it was so good. My dad and my brother thought it didn't have enough apples but I thought it was perfect .You have to try it.

Hi, I'm Matt. I'm blogging to tell you about my adventures in food. When we go out to eat, and I try something new or try a new recipe at home, I will blog about it.

Today, we went to Plaza Azteca for lunch. When we got there, the waiter gave us some chips and dip. There was a dip that looked like ranch, so I tried it. It was SO good. I couldn't stop eating it. I ate it with my chips, and also dipped my quesadilla in it. If you ever go there, make sure you try it.
